Jenna Lynn Featherstone Books created CurioKite Discovery Quest as a learning game for children and families. Protecting children's privacy is part of the app's design.
Information we collect
CurioKite Discovery Quest does not ask for or collect personal information. The app has no account registration, chat, advertising, analytics, tracking, location access, camera access, photo access, contact access, or user-submitted content.
Information stored on the device
The app stores current-quest and completion progress locally on the reader's device so a reader can continue later and see which book questions have been reviewed. This progress consists of game choices such as the selected animal trail, question position, clue use, score, reviewed questions, and book-completion dates. It is not sent to Jenna Lynn Featherstone Books or to an analytics service.
Children's privacy
The app is designed for children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Children are not asked to enter a name, email address, message, or any other personal detail. A parent or guardian who needs support can use the contact page listed below.
Internet access and third parties
The complete game and its book content are included in the app. The children's experience contains no external website links and does not use third-party advertising or analytics software. In the grown-up membership area, Apple's StoreKit service supplies localized subscription information and verified purchase status. Apple processes App Store purchases under Apple's own privacy policy. Jenna Lynn Featherstone Books does not receive a child's name, contact details, activity, or device progress through the app.
Changes to this policy
If the app's privacy practices change, this policy will be updated before the changed version is released. The effective date above will also be updated.
