Thoughtfully designed for families
No in-app advertising, child profiles, app accounts, analytics SDKs, or behavioral tracking. Purchases, settings, and outside links are protected by a parental gate. The app does not use your microphone or camera. The private book service processes requests to deliver books and verify Apple membership; see the privacy policy for details.

Choose what to download
The full collection is not bundled into the app or automatically downloaded at first launch. Start with a favorite story and add more when you are ready.
Open a book to save it
With an active membership or eligible trial, tap a book while online to download its pictures and narration. Keep the download screen open and your device unlocked until the book opens. Jenna's spoken reminder helps little listeners know what to do. If a download is interrupted, checked files are kept for your retry.
Read offline after downloading
Fully downloaded books can be read and heard offline while your device can verify an unexpired membership. You may need to reconnect to recognize a renewal. Downloaded books do not provide permanent access after membership ends.
Parents stay in control
Choose WiFi only or allow cellular downloads; mobile data charges may apply. In grown-up Settings, review storage, remove saved books, or download updated editions. Parents can also review the size and approve Save all current books. Choosing a connection preference does not start a whole-library download.
New stories are easy to find
The catalog refreshes when you open or return to the app while online, with new books first in each collection. New titles are not automatically downloaded. Already-saved books keep their edition until a parent chooses to download an updated edition.
Updating from the original app?
Your existing Apple membership is unchanged. After updating, download your chosen books while online before relying on offline reading. Keep the app installed when updating to retain local saved settings and reading positions.
Your family’s reading library
Make room for storytime
A monthly or yearly membership unlocks the complete library and narration. Apple displays current local prices and any eligible offers before you subscribe.
Memberships renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel through your Apple Account. Deleting the app does not cancel a membership.
