Emma’s thankful list is about to take her across an ocean!

Join Emma, Noah, and Grandpa on an imaginary journey into the Pilgrims’ story. From England and Holland to the Mayflower and Plymouth, the children discover why the Pilgrims wanted freedom to worship God and how courage, responsibility, and help from others shaped their experiences.

Along the way, they learn about the Mayflower Compact, the first hard winter, Squanto’s knowledge, and Massasoit’s peace agreement. They visit the harvest feast of 1621, then travel onward to family planting in 1623, a threatening drought, prayer, and welcome rain.

Warm conversations and Pilgrim fact boxes help young readers follow the history. A glossary, discussion prompts, and a thankful-notebook activity invite families to keep learning together.
